Score! Chad Robertson painting

So I had a great success at the silent auction portion of the Venice Art Walk yesterday. (My husband loves how I think of auctions as "victories," "wins" or "successes" rather than just purchases...).

Anyhow - picked up this fabulous portrait by Chad Robertson. It caught my eye during my first walk-through yesterday morning (yes, there were multiple walk-thru's). Came home, did a little homework on Mr. R., liked what he had to say (and what the art world, and the LA Times, had to say about him). Went back, placed the winning bid, and now have to decide where Gino will hang in our house. Ah, the thrill of victory...
