Ooh, this is cool. Hope I can still get my hands on them...USPS is releasing a sheet of stamps in tribute to Charles & Ray Eames. They look gorgeous.
According to the Eames Office, Tuesday June 17th will be the first date of issue of the stamps. I'll have delivered a baby 3 days earlier, so probably won't be lining up at the window for them myself. Here's more from the Eames office on their plans for the day:
Tuesday, June 17th, is the First Date of Issue of a new pane of stamps by the United States Postal Service celebrating Eames designs. You can be there for the event which is slated to occur between 11-1 p.m. This event will be held at the Eames Office at 850 Pico Blvd. in Santa Monica.
